Alongside our new strategy, we have refreshed our purpose – Forging a path to a healthier future for moments of relaxation and pleasure – ­­and developed a clear vision to build a strong challenger business powered by responsibility, focus and choice.

I love the boldness of our purpose and the ambition of our vision. But what I like most about these statements is that they were co-created by our people. That means they are not just words on the wall but living, breathing expressions of how we see the world and Imperial’s place within it.

We also worked with our people to define the behaviours that they aspire to and expect to see in others. We start with consumers – because we know that a deep understanding of their choices is how we succeed. We collaborate purposefully both with each other and with our growing network of external partners. We believe in taking accountability. This is how we honour the promises we make.
