How does it feel working as part of the Sales team at Imperial Brands?
When you have the opportunity to be part of a team that builds you up, supports you, and constantly 'pulls' you upwards, then it means everyday is different. I don’t see Imperial as an employer, but as a team.
Every small step I take towards achieving our common goals is supported by the opportunity to think, make decisions, and develop my potential.
I like all these steps in my work, as they are consistent and purposeful.
I trust the people I work with.
I always have the support, the 'tools', and the freedom I need to be a winner.
There’s nothing better than having not a single 'work day' when you’re doing the job you love.
That’s when you give all your love and strength to a common goal.
What advice would you give to someone considering joining Imperial Brands?
If someone wants to join real people who will help develop the potential they have, to be supported, to be able to think and freely express every idea they have, then their place is at Imperial.
Here we’re all one team; we celebrate our successes together and learn from our mistakes.
We think about what we can improve to become even better and more successful.
At Imperial, everyone is part of something bigger, and you never feel alone. We help each other, we bond, and we all express our ideas freely.
If someone wants to be part of our team, then I encourage you to join us, because here you will always feel SIGNIFICANT.

I also provide feedback from the market and the team, suggest ideas for more efficient ways of working.

The fact that I feel valued, appreciated and contribute to our achievements.
I have the opportunity to meet many different people, travel to various destinations, lead and support my team, and together we learn from our mistakes and celebrate our successes.

Be motivated, loyal, and have no doubt that you’re in the right place.

Tell us about your role?
In my current role as a South East Europe (SEE) Cluster Finance Business partner, to which I was recently promoted, I coordinate and analyse the cluster’s forecasts and financial performance and consolidate SEE cluster markets inputs into executive reports.
I had been with the company for almost two years when I got promoted, which is a great career opportunity for me and it proves that the company appreciation for my contribution and efforts to go above and beyond.
What makes you feel most connected to the broader company team?
I feel more connected to the team because of the personal qualities of my colleagues.
For me, some of the best qualities of the people in the company are their open-mindedness, sense of responsibility and willingness to help.
These qualities make me feel confident when we face challenges in our daily tasks.
Tell us about your role?
I have the privilege of leading two important areas within our Global IT Chief Information Officer team: Project Management Office and Small Change Management.
In my PMO role, I focus on in-flight portfolio execution, making sure our projects are delivered with transparency, governance, quality and efficiency.
In the Small Change Management Team, I oversee and improve the process for managing smaller initiatives and platform optimisations, ensuring that these changes bring value while using our IT budget wisely.
Together, these roles allow me to connect strategy with execution, and business priorities with technology delivery.
How would you describe the working culture within our Sofia IT team?
The Sofia IT team has a culture that is collaborative, open, and growth-oriented.
We challenge each other to improve, but we also support one another.
There is a strong sense of ownership — people are not just delivering tasks, but contributing ideas, optimising processes, and shaping the way we work globally.
What surprised you about working at Imperial Brands since you joined?
I was surprised by how much trust and empowerment you receive here.
From the beginning, I was given the freedom to design processes, implement improvements, and shape our IT ways of working.
There’s a real appetite for change and continuous improvement..
My role is positioned in the Application operations team and I have just finished my first full year in it. Before that, I had another role within Service management for one and a half years.
The role itself is pretty dynamic and interesting.
It covers the overall daily operational management of the vendors in scope of the service I am responsible for – in my case that’s Wipro and Honeywell and all other aspects of the specific service, when it comes to operations.
I also have project and transition management duties, which are specifically for newer projects coming to Operations from the pipeline.
I would say it’s a brilliant place to be. We have built a great collective inside and outside of the office as well.
We have regular meetings in the office weekly to stay connected and informed and strive towards getting the job done, whilst having a chill and fun environment.
That’s the best of both worlds right there.
